With one stand-by unit in addition to the normal requirement for each operational need, SecuriData's customers benefit by minimising the risk of disruption to their business. To operate this power strategy,
our standard service includes:
- two separate mains power feeds
- Uninterruptible Power Supply
- Spare UPS units
- Spare generator units
- Sufficient fuel on site to run for days in case of an emergency
- Re-fuelling contracts to ensure timely replacement fuel

Online Backup Service - FIRE PREVENTION
Comprehensive fire detection systems, built to N+1 standards, are installed SecuriData's online backup facilities. These minimise the chance of a fire ever breaking out. If it does, the gas suppression technology means the flames can be put out rapidly without interfering with or damaging electrical equipment.
Standard characteristics, however, include:
- Three-stage fire detection systems in all areas
- VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus)
- Fire detection in all rooms, below raised floors and in ceiling
- Double interlocked pre-action sprinkler system
- Fire alarms and wet-pipe sprinkler systems
- Environmentally-friendly gas suppression systems using Argonite or Inergen
- Gas extraction, pressure relief and ventilation systems
